MIH Mobile Integrated Health Workshop with UW Global & Rural
SEREMS EDUCATION

Event Banner
THIS EVENT IS 100% FREE!

As Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) begins to live up to its promise to integrate EMS into primary health care, EMS providers need more in-depth knowledge of disease processes and treatments, and additional skills to thoroughly address patient assessment and care challenges in this space. These fundamentals are also of benefit for many of us in EMS and nursing, particularly flight nursing and home health. Join us for this workshop with two of UW's Global Emergency Medicine and Rural Health Fellows, Drs. Katie Main and Reid Haflich, with Dr. Adam Esch of Bartlett Regional Hospital, presenting approaches to mobility issues, fall risk, medication management, wound care, and challenging comorbidities.
