The Bridge Design Workshop features presentations made by bridge / transportation officials, researchers, and consultants in charge of bridge design and plan preparation with contributions from manufacturers and contractors involved in the industry.


Join us on Friday, October 7 for the 28th Annual Bridge Design Workshop at the K-State Alumni Center. Check out the agenda to see speakers photos, bio and presentations (posted by workshop date). Sponsors and Exhibitor information will also be posted on the agenda.


  • You can attend in person or via Zoom (we will not be recording the presentations)
  • Visit with Colleagues, Speakers, Exhibitors and Sponsors
  • You can register more than one person from the same company

Deadlines to remember:

September 30 - Early bird deadline

Week of October 3 - Speakers presentations will be posted to Agenda page

October 4 - Sponsorship and Exhibitor registration closes on Tuesday, October 4

October 4 - We recommend you provide a substitution or modify your registration by this date

October 6 - Purchase a parking pass by 11:59 pm (if applicable)


Course Completion Certificate

If you attend all sessions of the Bridge Design Workshop you will receive six (6) continuing education hours from Kansas State University, Department of Civil Engineering. It remains your responsibility to verify with your state/or governing agency/ or professional development committee that this course completion certificate will be accepted.


Parking

Parking permits are ordered from Kansas State University Parking Services website. The cost to order a permit is $6.00. Please place your order for your parking permit by 11:59 PM the day BEFORE the event. The link to purchase a conference parking pass should be posted at least 30 days prior to the workshop. The link is available on this website, email confirmation and sent to participants via email.


Refund Policy

If you must cancel your registration, please do so as soon as possible. Substitutions are accepted. Registration fees, less a $50.00 processing fee, will be refunded if notice is received in the registration office on or before Friday, September 30, 2022. Due to guarantees we must give prior to the program, refunds are not available if notice of cancellation is given after the deadline. To cancel or modify your registration, please send a written request to Workshop Meeting Planner with the program name in the subject line. Registrants who do not cancel their registration by the deadline are responsible for the total registration fee even if they not attend the event and have not paid the registration fee.


Cancellation Policy

Kansas State University may cancel or postpone this program because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the program is canceled or postponed, registration fees will be refunded but we cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies. Registration fees will not be canceled and refunds will not be issued if the program is held but the registrant is unable to attend due to travel delays or cancellations caused by inclement weather, or due to other extraordinary circumstances beyond the control of Kansas State University.


Special Assistance

Participants who need accommodations due to a disability or who have special dietary requirements should indicate services needed at the time of registration. Please allow up to two weeks advance notice to arrange for accessibility needs. If you have questions or need additional information, please contact the workshop meeting planner. Early notification is requested to ensure appropriate accommodations can be provided.
