HYBRID EVENT TO BE HELD IN-PERSON AT THE MIT MEDIA LAB AND VIRTUALLY VIA ZOOM

—There is no registration fee for this event—

MIT Golub Center for Finance and Policy is pleased to bring you our 9th annual conference, titled “Building and Regulating the New Financial Infrastructure,” hosted in partnership with Barclays, on Wednesday, October 19 and Thursday, October 20.

This year we’ll focus on how new technologies are reshaping financial services, how regulatory policies might be rethought, and considerations for securing the underlying infrastructure. It features a combination of high-level keynote addresses, panel discussions and presentations of new research findings.

Highlights include keynotes by Tobias Adrian (Financial Counsellor and Director of the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the IMF) and Darrell Duffie (The Adams Distinguished Professor of Management and Professor of Finance at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business), in addition to a diverse mix of regulators, academics, and industry participants.

JOIN THE CONFERENCE VIRTUALLY HERE.

The mission of the MIT GCFP is to serve as a catalyst for innovative, cross-disciplinary and nonpartisan research and educational initiatives that address the unique challenges facing governments in their role as financial institutions and as regulators of the financial system.
