“Intellectually” Smart:
Using Intellectual and Creative Property Legally
How many times have we sat in a session and seen a “Dilbert” cartoon up on screen? Or a famous painting or photograph? Or a video clip from a movie or TV show? Or heard the latest song being used as walk in music?
The terms “intellectual property” and “copyright infringement” have become very familiar to us especially with technology allowing us access to everything. If you do not use it legally, your organization could face millions of dollars in fines.
Can your organization survive that? If so, will your job survive?
Learn how this affects you as a meeting planner...translated by a meeting planner.
By attending this interactive session with you will learn the basics of how to legally use:
- Music in your meetings
- Video Clips
- Cartoons, photos and other visual media
