The overnight program includes residence on campus for the length of camp (Sunday night through Friday afternoon), three meals per day in the college dining hall, choice of two area of interest immersions (half day, hands-on offerings), evening events (pool party, talent show, dance, and an off-campus offering such as mini golf or skating, etc.), refreshments, instructional fees and common classroom supplies for the immersion opportunities, and a Challenge t-shirt.

Price includes all meals, class supplies, lodging, gifts, activities, rentals, etc. for the week. Exception: Some immersions may have an attached materials fee (indicated at immersion description and added at registration).

The Challenge Day Program for grades 1-4 includes lunch, snack and activities. The program is one week, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, on the Saint Vincent campus. Children will have the opportunity to participate in academically and creatively theme-based experiences, led by certified elementary teachers. A counselor is scheduled to remain all day with the group of children, helping them throughout their experience. All instructional fees, materials, on-site field trips, and meals are included.

Super Tots is a 9:00 am to noon, Monday- Friday hands on program. We engage your child in a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and events, based on the Super Heroes theme. A snack is provided midmorning.

This is a Chemistry experiment opportunity. Work in a Chemistry lab with lab partners to create reactions that will surprise and amaze you! Understand the mystical relationship between elements on the periodic table. Activity Fee: $15

While at Fort Ligonier, walk where George Washington did and learn about an experience that nearly took his life, sit where General John Forbes made major decisions, and become those people. Participate in marching and drilling, mortar firing, and much more. Take a step into history at Fort Ligonier! Activity Fee: $20

Held at the SVC Equestrian farm. Learn equine care and grooming. Learn the basics of working with and the history of horses. Basic riding and safety. Beginner or non riders only. Activity Fee:$20

Explore the forces behind aviation, air currents, and flight through this hands on opportunity. Build flight worthy machines and visit a private aviation company at the local airport. Explore a helicopter and small air planes, from the safety of the ground. Activity Fee: $15

Is writing a graphic novella or screenplay for you? Jump into this immersion and share your thoughts and ideas with peers with the same interests. Explore the genres and create a work based on your own imagination. Activity Fee: $10

Solve CSI type mysteries in this investigative course that shares both very old and very cutting edge methods and beliefs concerning crime scene investigation. This is a hands on immersion that will have you considering a new career path! 

Explore this area of artistic expression. Where did it come from, what is its place in history? Design and create some of your own, based on what you have discovered. Creating temporary graffiti and designs for body art, no permanent body art will take place. Activity Fee: $20

What are the subliminal or implied messages in film and media? Discuss particular clips, explore tactics, and create your own “message” through media.

Are superheroes above the law? Is it acceptable to allow them to break the law for the greater good? You decide through mock trials of your favorite heroes. Take a courtroom role, build your case and present it for trial.
