The #1 reason jails in the United States are involved in litigation remains due to sustained injuries from physical altercations. The National Institute for Jail Operations (NIJO) Conflict Management Techniques training seminar provides real life examples and practice scenarios for attendees to work through as they gain knowledge on not only the causes of conflict, but the proven tactics that will effectively manage conflict within their facility. This hands-on training supersedes current de-escalation training with a far more intensive and practical application than anything else previously provided to corrections officials.
