1-Day ACLS Provider Course (Hybrid Format)

This accelerated course combines online learning with in-person skills training for experienced emergency medical professionals who are completing the course for the first time or if the certification has expired. It covers the same material as the standard two-day course but at a faster pace.


How will this enhance your care:

This course utilizes simulation technology with a case-based format with the goal of the student being confident and competent to respond to an adult cardiovascular and cerebrovascular emergency.


Upon completion each student will be able to:

  • Identify when the patient is stable or unstable when patients are in a tachyarrhythmias or bradyarrhythmia.
  • How to manage a patient who is experiencing a stroke
  • Advanced airway management techniques
  • How to manage a patient in cardiac arrest
  • Perform high-quality CPR with an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Effective team communication and management
  • How to manage a patient who has regained pulses after being in cardiac arrest.
