Description
Stakeholder Convening: Child Care for Military Families, a Collaborative Project of State Military Spouse and Family Liaisons from Alabama and Washington, brings together stakeholders in the child care space serving military families at the local, state, and national levels to learn from each other, share resources, and develop actionable solutions. Each calendar quarter will center around a theme with monthly topics. Every meeting will include a brief panel discussion and conversation among attendees.
Learning Objectives
The September Convening will have a conversational format where attendees can discuss best practices on how to engage installations and civilian communities to communicate with military families. We’ll also discuss social media – what channels and pages are best for getting messages to military families and which event are best to participate in to get the word out as well. The convening will also focus on how language and graphics can best be utilized for this group. For more details, visit Stakeholder Convening: Child Care for Military Families | WDVA
