Registration is now open for the Department Executive Officers (DEO) Program. Participation in the program is by invitation only.

The Big Ten Academic Alliance DEO Program is a highly interactive leadership development experience where attendees engage in large group discussions and self reflection, networking with peers from across disciplines and institutions, and participate in intensive small group exercises to foster skills to manage the diverse and complex responsibilities of executive officers while exploring their own leadership practices.

Participants are required to attend four virtual meetings September through October and a three-day in-person event at the Hilton Rosemont/Chicago O'Hare Hotel in Rosemont, IL on November 5-7, 2025.

The program will begin at 2:00 pm CT, and the welcome remarks will begin at 2:30pm CT. Please ensure your travel arrangements allow for you to fully participate in the welcome session. If flying to the event, please ensure your flight arrives no later than 1:00 pm CT on November 5 and departs no earlier than 5:00 pm CT on November 7.
