This clinical prevention conference for HIV and STIs will focus on biomedical interventions including Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (Doxy PEP), Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), and Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP, nPEP nonoccupational Post Exposure Prophylaxis or oPEP). The intention is to raise awareness of biomedical prevention methods to bring clinical providers the information to best support these interventions. The education provided will focus on best practices to identify patients/clients who would benefit the most from biomedical prevention. Information to successfully implement these interventions including billing, patient and provider barriers, effectiveness, and clinical guidelines will also be discussed.
