A Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician—Level 2 is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform, record, and report the results of advanced laboratory procedures for aggregates and concrete. ACI states individuals must possess a current certification in ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician – Level 1. A person having concurrent certifications in ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician and Aggregate Testing Technician – Level 1 is equivalent to the Laboratory Testing Technician – Level 1 certification. Individuals must also have one year (2000 hours) of work experience in concrete and concrete aggregate laboratory testing. A Work Experience Form will need to be completed with your experience and submitted to ACI directly for processing—submission instructions are available on the form. Once certification requirements are met, the certification is valid through ACI for 5 years. CRMCA does not keep record of certifications or results.
