CoP Description:

The Veteran Service Officer Community of Practice (VSO CoP) provides an opportunity for State, County, Tribal, and Non-Profit Veteran Service Officers and service providers to receive instruction and updates on veteran benefits claims and related programs and services. This is also an opportunity for VSO's aod other service providers to network and provide peer support on emerging and challenging issues

Learning Objectives:

1. Understanding of emerging and updated requirements, issues, and trends in veteran benefits.
2. Ability to apply new methods, procedures, and standards related to benefits applications and appeals.
