A CONCRETE FIELD TESTING TECHNICIAN—GRADE I is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform and record the results of seven basic field tests on freshly mixed concrete. Certification is valid for a period of five years from the date of successfully completing all requirements. Recertification requires successful completion of both the written and performance examinations.

Exams are scored by ACI and results & certification records are solely maintained by them. CRMCA does not have exam scores, results, or certification records.

The CONCRETE FIELD TESTING TECHNICIAN—GRADE I TRAINING provides an opportunity for new and existing personnel to understand basic field concrete testing procedures and why they are necessary. The training will encompass the seven (7) ASTM Standards contained within the ACI Field Concrete Testing Technician certification, which is required for most testing technicians on nearly all project sites. The training is not required prior to registration of a certification session for individuals, however it is highly recommended as an introduction and/or refresher on the requirements of the certification. The one-day course, full of both in class presentation and hands-on practice, requires registration regardless of membership status as it is no longer free to Members.

THIS IS A TRAINING CLASS ONLY. No exams will be administered with this registration.
