In an effort to maximize our available space and to more efficiently utilize our Supplemental Examiners, the Colorado Ready Mixed Concrete Association will be conducting both the Concrete Strength Testing Technician and the Aggregate Testing Technician—Level 1 exams at the same time on the same dates. The capacity for these dates is the total capacity for the day which will be shared across both exams. Examinees CANNOT register for more than one of these exams on the same date.

A CONCRETE STRENGTH TESTING TECHNICIAN is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform, record, and report the results of four basic ASTM laboratory procedures related to the determination of concrete compressive and flexural strength. Once all portions of the exam are passed, the certification is valid through ACI for 5 years.

An AGGREGATE TESTING TECHNICIAN—LEVEL 1 is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform, record, and report the results of basic field and laboratory procedures for aggregates. Once all portions of the exam are passed, the certification is valid through ACI for 5 years.

Exams are scored by ACI and results & certification records are solely maintained by them. CRMCA does not have exam scores, results, or certification records.
