The registration is for the February 19, 2026 exam date in Durango, CO only. To register for any other date, please return to the CRMCA website and select the standard registration link for either the Field 1 or Strength exam to register.
Both the Concreted Field Testing Technician—Grade I (Field 1) and the Concrete Strength Testing Technician (Strength) exams will be administered at the CDOT Region 5 Lab on 02.19.2026, however each registrant can only select one of the two exams to take.
A CONCRETE FIELD TESTING TECHNICIAN—GRADE I is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform and record the results of seven basic field tests on freshly mixed concrete. Certification is valid for a period of five years from the date of successfully completing all requirements. Recertification requires successful completion of both the written and performance examinations.
A CONCRETE STRENGTH TESTING TECHNICIAN is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform, record, and report the results of four basic ASTM laboratory procedures related to the determination of concrete compressive and flexural strength. Once all portions of the exam are passed, the certification is valid through ACI for 5 years.
Exams are scored by ACI and results & certification records are solely maintained by them. CRMCA does not have exam scores, results, or certification records.

As a Local Sponsoring Group for ACI certifications, CRMCA is required to enforce ACI Policy, therefore any unauthorized materials will be immediately confiscated by the Examiner of Record if brought to an exam session. Please ensure only official/original materials are being utilized to avoid any disruption to your testing process.
