The Big Ten Academic Alliance DEO Program is a highly interactive leadership development experience where attendees engage in large group discussions and self-reflection, networking with peers from across disciplines and institutions, and participate in intensive small group exercises to foster skills to manage the diverse and complex responsibilities of executive officers while exploring their own leadership practices. 

Participation in the program is by invitation only. 

Participants are required to attend four virtual meetings throughout October and a three-day in-person event at the Big Ten Conference Center in Rosemont, IL on November 11-13, 2026. 

The program will begin at 2:00 pm CT, and the welcome remarks will begin at 2:30pm CT. Please ensure your travel arrangements allow you to fully participate in the welcome session. If flying to the event, please ensure your flight arrives no later than 1:00 pm CT on November 11 and departs no earlier than 5:00 pm CT on November 13.
