Saturday, July 27

9:00 am- 10:00 am

The Inn at St. John’s, Galilee Room

Whether it was your first car, the gem currently in your garage, or the classic you still have your eye on — we know a special car always drives every collection. Join us for a panel discussion to hear how and why experts such as Wayne Carini, Ralph Marano and Ken Lingenfelter build their collections, moderated by Hagerty’s own Brad Phillips.

PANELISTS

Wayne Carini

Master car restorer Wayne Carini has a résumé that includes body and paint work on many of the world’s rarest cars. He has been featured in the New York Timesas well as numerous automobile magazines. He is also the host of Chasing Classic Cars onDiscovery’sVelocity channel.

Ken Lingenfelter

Born the son of a General Motors executive, Ken Lingenfelter is the owner of both Lingenfelter Performance Engineering and The Lingenfelter Collection, a collection of over 200 of the world’s most popular muscle cars, exotic cars and Corvettes. Ken sits on the board for the Concours d’Elegance of America.

Ralph Marano

For 30 years, owner of Marano & Sons Auto Sales, Inc Ralph Marano has been collecting mostly Packards, including almost every Packard prototype. No car in his collection was mass produced and several are limited to small production. Though he owns several other marques, Packards will always be his first love.
