Cybersecurity is now one of the most important aspects of risk management for state and local governments, not-for-profit organizations and other tax-exempt entities.
Cyber attacks have the potential of disrupting internal and external communications, access to data, and even the ability to send bills or receive payments. In addition to developing strategies and tactical response plans to address cybersecurity, municipal entities must also consider legal and regulatory requirements, as well as rating agency and investor communications.
As a leading full service investment bank, HilltopSecurities strives to be a leader on issues that affect the municipal bond community such as cybersecurity. Our series of cybersecurity events is intended to educate municipal financial decision makers, and to encourage networking and dialog among governmental organizations, trade organizations, analysts, investors and cybersecurity professionals.
If you have any questions regarding the event please contact raleigh.seibel@hilltopsecurities.com.
All personnel from governmental, not-for-profit and corporate organizations are welcome to join the seminar. The seminar will provide a high level overview of cybersecurity issues with an emphasis on their impact on financial management, debt issuance and the capital markets. Please see the agenda for additional details regarding the content of the event.
