MEET THE PRESENTERS
Sara Wise
Sara Wise has dedicated her career to the nonprofit sector, with 25 years of serving education, human services, as well as cultural and fine arts organizations. Sara’s professional experience includes fundraising at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School in Virginia, the Episcopal School of Dallas, American Red Cross Greater Houston Chapter, and the Houston Zoo. Since becoming a consultant in 2016, Sara has worked with dozens of nonprofits to execute development strategy, events, board strategic retreats, capital campaigns, and more. Currently, she serves as Executive Consultant with Mission Advancement, a nonprofit fundraising consulting firm based out of North Texas and serves as counsel to multiple clients as well as the lead for the firm's Houston market strategy.
Lacey Young
Lacey serves as a Mission Advancement Assistant Vice President, working hands-on with client organizations to advance their mission and grow both annual and capital funds. Lacey brings 14 years of nonprofit fundraising experience across multiple spaces, including private independent schools, health care and social service organizations, and national nonprofit organizations. Trained at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy: Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and Independent School Management, she is a certified International Advancement Professional reflecting her dedication to her profession and desire to continually improve her skills.
