A Concrete Strength Testing Technician is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform, record, and report the results of four basic laboratory procedures related to the determination of concrete compressive and flexural strength. Once all portions of the exam are passed, the certification is valid through ACI for 5 years. CRMCA does not keep record of certifications or results.
The Concrete Strength Testing Technician TRAINING provides an opportunity for new and existing personnel to understand basic laboratory concrete strength-testing procedures and why they are necessary. The training will encompass the four (4) ASTM practices and test methods contained within the ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician certification:
The one-day course, full of both classroom presentation and hands-on practice, runs from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM MDT. Registration is required regardless of membership status.
THIS IS A TRAINING CLASS ONLY. No exams will be administered on these days.
Important Workbook Information:
Registration DOES NOT include workbooks or materials. All necessary materials must be purchased separately either through our website or from ACI directly.
Per ACI Policy, "Candidates choosing to use resource materials must possess either official/original ACI-printed materials, or printed permission from the copyright holder accompanying their printed/photocopied materials."
