Diagnosis and Management of Common Oral Lesions in the Dental Practice

A complimentary CE Program

Course Description:

This seminar will provide a case-based review of common lesions of the oral mucosa and jaws that may be encountered in dental practice. Cases will be presented in a sequence that mirrors typical patient flow in a dental office. Through correlation of medical history, clinical, and radiographic features, participants will review key diagnostic criteria, distinguishing characteristics, and representative clinical presentations of these conditions. The course will include discussion of diagnostic reasoning, differential diagnosis, and evidence-based management strategies within the scope of practice of general dentists and non-surgical specialists.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Recognize common oral and jaw lesions based on clinical and radiographic presentation.

• Apply diagnostic criteria to distinguish among lesions with similar appearances.

• Develop differential diagnoses for lesions encountered in general dental practice.

• Identify appropriate, evidence-based management strategies within the general dentist’s or non-surgical specialist’s scope of care.

Location: 6520 226th Place SE, Suite 205, Issaquah WA 98027

Time: 5:30-7:00 pm
