Section 608 of the Federal Clean Air Act requires that all persons who maintain, service, repair or dispose of appliances that contain regulated refrigerants be certified in proper refrigerant handling techniques. The course reviews the information in the Study Guide provided in preparation for the 608-certification exam. A link to the Study Guide will be given after online registration. There will be 6 hours of training and review for the EPA 608 Certification. The Exam will be administered following the review. Technicians can earn Type I, Type II, Type III or Universal Certification.
Cost: $250
Lunch will be provided.
Registration closes one week prior to start date. If minimum number of students is not met, Behler-Young reserves the right to cancel the class. Students will be notified by the email entered at registration.
