A CONCRETE FLATWORK ASSOCIATE is a person who has demonstrated knowledge (via a written examination) on proper procedures to place, consolidate, finish, edge, joint, cure and protect concrete flatwork.

A CONCRETE FLATWORK FINISHER is a craftsman who has demonstrated the skills (via a hands-on performance exam*) AND experience necessary to place, consolidate, finish, edge, joint, cure and protect concrete flatwork.

An ADVANCED CONCRETE FLATWORK FINISHER is a craftsman who has demonstrated the knowledge AND skills and/or experience necessary to place, consolidate, finish, edge, joint, cure and protect concrete flatwork.

*The CRMCA does NOT provide the hands-on performance exam to meet the requirements of a Concrete Flatwork Finisher. If the appropriate work experience is met, an individual can complete and submit the Work Experience Form along with taking the written Concrete Flatwork Associate exam in order to obtain the title of Advanced Concrete Flatwork Finisher. Submission instructions are outlined on the form. [It is recommended that you submit your Work Experience Form before your scheduled exam date in order to prevent any delays in the issuing of the Advanced Concrete Flatwork Finisher certification.]

Exams are scored by ACI and results & certification records are solely maintained by them. CRMCA does not have exam scores, results, or certification records.
