The Montana Department of Labor & Industry is nearing completion of its draft update to the Montana Building Code, which proposes adoption of the International Building Code with Montana-specific amendments.

As the drafting phase concludes, a public engagement effort to share the proposed updates and gather meaningful input from stakeholders across the state is needed.

This outreach phase is designed to ensure transparency, encourage broad participation, and collect constructive feedback from industry professionals, local governments, and the public before finalizing the code update.
