About Hod Lipson
Hod Lipson is a professor of Engineering and Data Science at Columbia University in New York, and a co-author of the award winning book “Fabricated: The New World of 3D printing” and “Driverless: Intelligent cars and the road ahead”. His work on self-aware and self-replicating robots challenges conventional views of robotics, and has enjoyed widespread media coverage. Lipson has co-authored over 350 publications that received over 50,000 citations to date. He has co-founded four companies, and is a frequent keynoter both in industry and academic events. Hod directs the Creative Machines Lab, which pioneers new ways to make machines that create, and machines that are creative.
About Kimberly Schlam, DMD, MS
Dr. Kimberly Schlam is a private practice prosthodontist in Bend, Oregon. Her practice focuses on patient centric, multi-specialty, collaborative care. Her research has focused on patient reported quality of life outcomes of implant prosthetics. She focuses on using digital technology to improve techniques, communication, and enhance her patients’ experiences. Dr. Schlam received her dental training from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and her Certificate of Prosthodontics and Master’s degree from UNC Chapel Hill. She has also served as an active duty US Army prosthodontist.
About Curry Leavitt, DMD, MS
Dr. Curry Leavitt graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry, where he received numerous awards in research and clinical achievement. After graduating dental school, he was accepted into the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s (UAB) Periodontology program, where he received training in multiple surgical and medical disciplines. Dr. Leavitt received dual certificates in Periodontology from UAB, and from the Birmingham Veterans Affairs hospital. Dr. Leavitt lectures nationally on the subjects of full-arch implant reconstruction, digitally guided surgery, ridge augmentation and esthetic gingival surgery techniques. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicines dental GPR program.
About David Rallis, DDS, MD
David Rallis, DDS, MD, began his education at the University of Nebraska and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He later completed his Doctor of Medicine from Mayo Medical School and residency in oral & maxillofacial surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Following his training he founded Nebraska Oral & Facial Surgery in 2010. Driven by innovation and patient-centered care, Dr. Rallis transformed his practice into a national leader in dental implant surgery through digital technology and streamlined clinical workflows.
In 2018, David launched Paradigm Oral Health, a healthcare services platform dedicated to innovating and standardizing specialty surgical care in dentistry. Paradigm’s growth has been fueled by de novo practice expansion and partnerships with leading oral surgery practices across the nation. To advance Paradigm's vision, Dr. Rallis established Paragon, a data science ecosystem, to automate and validate patient care outcomes and experience.
