CCOG University was created to serve as a regional professional development resource for local government staff, elected officials, managers and professional planners. There are two training session tracks: one for general government and one for professional planners. Both provide opportunities to learn about topics that support our region’s communities and improve the overall health, vibrancy and resilience of the greater Charlotte region.
We are excited to serve our communities by providing accessible and high-quality professional development opportunities for local government staff and elected officials in our region. As an added benefit of Centralina membership, we are offering general government sessions free of charge and a discounted rate on planning track sessions. If you are an elected official, member government staff or staff affiliated with or funded by a member government (i.e. MPOs, RPOs), then you qualify for these member benefits. Non-members and interested professionals are welcome to attend for $20 – click below to access our membership directory to check your status.
All classes will be virtual unless specifically stated that they will be held at the Centralina offices, located at 9815 David Taylor Drive in Charlotte unless otherwise indicated. A light breakfast will be served for in-person sessions. For more information or questions, contact Lauren Tayara at email@example.com. For planning track information and registration, please visit here.
A zoom link will be emailed to you one week prior to the event.
