2020 CCOG U: General Government Training Series
2020 CCOG U: General Government Training Series
Centralina Council of Governments TRAINING
THIS EVENT IS 100% FREE!

CCOG University was created to serve as a regional professional development resource for local government staff, elected officials, managers and professional planners. There are two training session tracks: one for general government and one for professional planners. Both provide opportunities to learn about topics that support our region’s communities and improve the overall health, vibrancy and resilience of the greater Charlotte region.

The objectives of CCOG U are to:

  • Enhance the knowledge and skills of local government staff and elected officials on important issues and managerial practices.
  • Provide a space for peer to peer learning.
  • Ensure our audience has regional access to professional development opportunities either delivered by CCOG experts or partners.

We are excited to serve our communities by providing accessible and high-quality professional development opportunities for local government staff and elected officials in our region. As an added benefit of CCOG membership, we are offering general government sessions free of charge and a discounted rate on planning track sessions. If you are an elected official, member government staff or staff affiliated with or funded by a member government (i.e. MPOs, RPOs), then you qualify for these member benefits. Non-members and interested professionals are welcome to attend for $20 – click here to access our membership directory to check your status.

All classes will be held at the CCOG offices, located at 9815 David Taylor Drive in Charlotte. Lunch will be served during afternoon sessions and breakfast will be served during morning sessions. For more information or questions, contact Emily Parker at eparker@centralina.org. For planning track information and registration, please visit here.
