Do you ever hesitate when a neighbor or a donor prospect asks, “So what does your organization do?” Ever wish for a do-over after having a casual chat where you stumbled through your agency’s mission—or just rattled off something from the website?

To be an effective advocate for any cause, it's crucial to have (and practice!) a clear, compelling “elevator pitch.” Connecting your organization’s mission to something that resonates personally with your listener can be surprisingly powerful! Meaningful conversations stick with people longer than social media, mailers, and e-blasts—and growing new fans is vital for any nonprofit.

Learn how to link your agency’s message to your own personal “why,” so you’re ready for any audience—your neighbor, a colleague, your PTA friend, or prospective donor…anyone, anywhere!
