Workplace conflict is inevitable. In the nonprofit sector, it can be especially challenging. Employees with varying perspectives, priorities and communication styles will disagree. When conflict is not addressed, it can cause lack of collaboration, disengagement, and tension that is palpable to others.

This training will provide you with a framework to address conflict in your organization. Using empathy (identifying what each person might be feeling and needing underneath what is said) can make employees feel heard, seen and understood. Seeing needs clearly can also open up an array of strategies to meet those needs. In addition, better communications tools, clearer expectations and stronger listening skills can prevent many workplace disputes.
